The beautiful rhythm of the live sitar music echoed in the air as guests began to arrive for Uzma and Ian's special day at the Stonebridge Golf Club. Surrounded by the closest friends and family, Uzma and Ian celebrated this day by fusing together Scottish, Pakistani and Canadian culture symbolizing their love for one another, unity and appreciation for vibrant colours!
We expected showers throughout the day, but we were lucky that the sun decided to peak in and out of the blue and grey clouds throughout the day instead.
The bride got ready at her best friend's house. There were lost of sparkles to behold!
Uzma took her traditional Pakistani wedding dress to the next level with a pair of funky black and gold heels.
Ian's red and blue tie comes from his Scottish heritage.
Don't these two look amazing?!
The bride and groom decided to have their portraits taken at a beautiful 1860s industrial heritage site, Watson's Mill in Manotick.
Uzma's two besties joined us for a few photos.
Kim from I Love You Past Heaven did an incredible job in designing all the little details. From the watercolour floral table numbers to the seat arrangement chart, everything was so beautifully coordinated!
Uzma's parents flew in all the way from Pakistan to be present. Much love!
Uzma's girls all joined for a few shots during cocktail hour.
Heartfelt speeches by Uzma's close friends put everyone in the room in tears!
You can see, their friends are a bunch of jokesters!
We snuck out for a last few photos during sunset. We didn't get much sun unfortunately, but the love was there!
Congratulations dear Uzma and Ian! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and joy!
