Emily and Guillaume first met when their mutual friend brought Guillaume to Emily’s badminton gym. Fate had them sitting side by side on a bench as they waited their turn to play. A casual conversation was struck between the two as they waited and the connection between them was instant. Emily described the moment as being comfortable, easy and natural and they learned that they had a lot of common interests. With both of them having introverted tendencies, this was a sign that they would connect again very soon. So exactly a month later, they met again on their first date and their initial spark was confirmed. Four years later, of which one was spent doing the difficult long distance relationship, they got engaged and will be getting married on their 6 year anniversary at Jabulani Vineyard and Winery.
