My favourite things about Jessica and Rylan’s wedding at Le Fairmont Chateau Montebello this past weekend are the following:
The father-daughter first look. Made us all melt and cry watching from afar.
Rylan’s sweet grandpa who wanted to make sure he got a good photo with his grandson.
How Rylan looked at Jessica with such affection and love throughout the entire day.
Jessica’s and her bridesmaids’ gorgeous peony-filled bouquets that worked so well with their navy blue ensembles (of course I’d make mention of this, right?!).
Rylan is a professional magician (YES, I KNOW, so cool!), so he was playing tricks on my second shooter (also named Jessi), who was all giddy about it! That’s what magicians do :)
The fairy-tale-like-castle that we used as a backdrop to capture Jessica and Rylan’s first few moments as husband and wife.
The rain threatened us all day then finally decided to pour 5 minutes before the planned outdoor ceremony. Luckily, Brittany from Frid Events was around to plan and execute the backup plan. One of my favourite reasons why it’s so wonderful to hire a wedding planner for your day. It was such an honour to capture the beautiful moments of this day for Jessica and Rylan. Check out the full feature of this romantic Montebello wedding below.
The practice shot of Jessica’s shoes was the winning one!
The combination of deep, navy blue with soft and bright spring florals was such a distinguishing touch to the overall romantic feel of the day. Thanks to Frid Events for designing and executing this gorgeous look!
Jessica’s mom is a hairstylist, so she spent the morning hanging out with all the girls and putting the finishing touches on each of their hair, including her own daughter’s!
You need a team to get a dress on like this!
Rylan is a magician by profession, so he had lots of tricks up his sleeves while hanging out with the guys earlier in the day.
Jessica opted for a first look with her dad. It was such a special moment for them two and I was almost in tears documenting their beautiful time together.
Aren’t these bridesmaids the most beautiful you’ve ever seen!?
We traipsed around the grounds and found this inspiring spot in front of the castle-like heritage building. French blue for the win!
The most beautiful bride!
The ceremony was moved indoors 5 minutes before it was scheduled to begin because of the rainfall. But it didn’t retract at all from this moment down the aisle.
MARRIED!!
The rain stopped for a few minutes in between the ceremony and reception, so we ran outdoors to get images of the bridal party!
I love their glowing faces here!
The reception took place in the Canada Room of the Chateau.
See how Rylan was head over heels for his woman!? I am so lucky to be capturing these precious moments of life for my sweet couples!
