We’re so fortunate to have met these two wonderful, kind, delightful people who brought us all the way to Fort Henry in Kingston to capture their special love. With the St. Lawrence River as their backdrop, Emma and Tim said their I dos in front of their loved ones, including their adorable baby girl, Ellie.
Emma and Tim wanted an elegant yet exciting affair amongst the closest of their family and friends, so the Renaissance Events Venue, Kingston’s oldest surviving church structure (built in the early 1800s!) amidst the urban downtown surroundings was the perfect location to host their guests coming in from near and far. With enchanted gold chandeliers, checkered marble floors and tall stain-glassed ceilings, this place gave just the perfect amount of glamour to their wedding. Tapered off-white candles lined the centre of the long harvest tables and green succulents were placed on each table setting as a wedding favour for each guests. The design was just so simple yet glamorous. My favourite combination!
We did get to sneak out for a few minutes to get some sunset photos of these two cuties before the dancing started. So scroll all the way down to see some of my all time favourite photos!
Emma and her girls got ready at Emma’s beautiful farm home - a special place for them where Tim proposed and where they brought their beautiful baby girl, Ellie, home for the first time!
We loved how the guys got ready at their local barber shop, Jimmy Hair Studio.
This must be one of my favourite first looks of all time! Funny story: you wouldn’t have known that there was a dog fight literally metres beside Tim and seconds before this moment took place. The dogs are fine and the first look proceeded flawlessly! haha
We had a few minutes to take as many photos as we could before the ceremony took place just above at Fort Henry. The rain was threatening, but it made for some beautiful clouds and fresh gusts of wind.
Here’s Emma and Tim’s adorable daughter frolicking towards them during the ceremony as one of their flower girls, with her cousin’s hand in hers.
The boats caught her attention!
The rain started pouring a few minutes after the ceremony took place, so we took cover and went on over to the reception space, the Renaissance Events Venue, where the rain decided to hold off a little longer for bridal party portraits!
This has got to be one of my favourite elegant spaces to photograph yet!
We snuck out for a few minutes and went down to the marina where Emma and Tim spent a lot of their time together before and during their engagement period.
Thank you Emma and Tim for sharing your beautiful story with us and for allowing us to capture your special day! Everything was just so perfectly you. #happilyeverarchibald
