Stonefields Loft Boho Wedding | Natasha + Rich

"I still can’t believe that today I get to marry not only my best friend, but also my grade 4, 7 and 11 girlfriend.”  Natasha and Rich, having already spent much of their lifetimes together, made their love for one another official this fall at Stonefields Estate in Ottawa this fall.

It was nearly 2.5 years ago that Natasha first reached out to me to potentially shoot her wedding.  At that time, I was 5 months pregnant with Hayat and weeks away from travelling abroad.  We managed to set up an engagement session before I flew off and we connected instantly!  She was looking for a modern yet rustic barn to host her wedding in 2018, so I instantly recommended that she look into Stonefields Estate.  With their white-washed interiors and crystal chandeliers, this modern barn venue was the perfect space to compliment Natasha and Rich’s love for the country with a clean, minimalist and modern feel.

And now, 2.5 years later, this time 6 months pregnant with baby # 2, I had the honour to photograph their beautiful wedding at their dream venue with their favourite people around.  Natasha sent me sneak peaks of her dress throughout the process and I was so excited to learn that she took my recommendation of hiring Jenna and Jess from Orangerie Floral to create her all-white garden-inspired arrangement for her and her ladies.

It was such an honour to be there to capture Natasha and Rich’s engagement and now, over 2 years later, their wedding.  My favourites of the day are down below.  Also, do check out Natasha and Rich’s incredible wedding video by Jinbon.
