Rebecca and Dan’s wedding was filled with so many personal details that made their day uniquely them.  Rebecca wore her grandmother’s pearl earrings and gold watch.  She got ready in her childhood home, down the street from the church where she and Dan said their I dos.  Her father sang her a ballad that he wrote himself while her mother played the piano in the background.  Not a single eye was dry at that moment.  Dan’s family surprised everyone with a video full of Canadian icons and celebrities sending them personalized best wishes.  Special mentions from the one and only Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Rick Mercer, Jann Arden, Elliotte Friedman just to name a few.  That’s what happens when your family works in broadcasting!  Rebecca and Dan were awe-struck by the gesture which must have taken months to film and produce.  You can see the video here.  There may or may not have been a full room of screaming, loud laughter and lots of clapping. Everyone danced the night away to hits from every decade.  Their wedding day was one for the books.
