I had three requirements in mind for my winter baby shower.
Relaxed and pretty, but no pink.
Mouth-watering food.
And wonderful people.
I lost on the 'no pink' quite early in the planning phase, but Melissa from Makinitlovely and Katherine from Pollen Nation Floral Studio created such a beautiful whimsical boho vibe for our winter baby shower that I couldn't resist. my girl, Becca from The Happy Ever Crafter put her design and calligraphy skills to the test by creating the perfect invitation! On top of that, Emma from Photography by Emma captured everything so organically like the pro she is! Make sure to scroll all the way down to check out a few shots from our maternity photoshoot too. The entire food station was designed and executed by my sister-in-law, Ebru, who laid out everything so beautifully - it was hard to start digging into the masterpiece that was French eggplant and beef sandwiches, all the cheeses and nuts you can imagine and my mom and mother-in-law's savoury patties and stuffed grape leaves. Isra from Yummy Bunches made both the cake and cupcakes, which of course was the highlight in my sweet-tooth book. A huge thanks to them and to my family who helped make it all happen in such a short time frame without any hiccups. Ending 2016 with a bang before babygirl joins us in January 2017!
