In Ryan’s own words, they met in the most ‘Canadian’ of ways. Liz and Ryan were in a curling league on opposing teams. It took him until the end of the season to work up the courage to ask Liz out on a date. Years later, after Ryan surprised Liz with a candlelit dinner at home, he surprised her again by getting down on one knee and proposing to the love of his life.
Ryan and Liz wanted to incorporate an urban flair to their engagement shoot. Liz, who has a fantastic eye for art and beauty, pointed out a few vibrant murals in the downtown alleyways of the Byward Market. We walked around the core until we reached Nepean Point, and may have jumped a fence or two to capture their laughter against the backdrop of the Ottawa River.
Ali and I had such a fun time hanging out with you two! When you actually laugh at our weird jokes and throw us a few right back at us, we know that we’ve found our kind of couple. We are excited to capture your love at your Andaz Ottawa Byward Market wedding next year, planned by the fabulous Elise from Toast Events. It’s going to be something else.
