I know what you did last winter: tips on getting through Canada's cold!

For most, the gruelling -35 degree celcius weather with wind chill that would make your nose hairs freeze over in seconds, isn't the type of weather that makes you skip down the icy sidewalk.  Canadian winters can be harsh, limit your motivation and physical activity, and may just make you want to curl up in the warmest corner of your home and go to sleep until Spring.

You know the saying, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em?  Being a native Ottawan (Batoul!), we've come up with a number of ways to get over the winter blues and instead appreciate what mother nature has driven our way.

Our time spent is Seville went by so slowly!  Maybe it's just the slowed down lifestyle of the Spanish people that influenced our sentiment, but man, it felt like we were in Seville for a long time!  It was only 2.5 days, which was more than enough to see the incredible monuments and experience the laid back atmosphere and kind faces of the Sevillian life.

This month we celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary.  Four beautiful, happy, adventure-seeking, loving years together as husband and wife.  Sometimes I sit back and think, 'Are we really married? Am I really living the life I've always dreamed of? With this incredible human being by my side!?'.  Reality reminds me that, yes, for some crazy wild reason, he chose me.
