I have been counting the days to Val and Paul’s Evermore wedding! From the moment I met these two at Bridgehead last year, I knew they had something very special. And it all started as a fluke when they met at an event they were both working at and Paul passed Val his number on a napkin (check out their love story and National Gallery of Canada engagement photos here!)

The rain poured all day long. But, Val and Paul took it as a sign of good luck and enjoyed the ‘getting ready’ portion of the day with their families until Val walked down the aisle under a huge, floral-filled tent surrounded by their closest friends and family members.

Val and Paul have a way with words. They wrote their own vows and professed their deep commitment to one another as well as their gratitude towards their friends and family. It was a very touching ceremony, with live music being played by Luxe Duo.

During the reception, Paul shocked us all by singing ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran to his new wife. Holy smokes, he has such an incredible voice! I think we were all crying by this point of the night.

Val, Paul, thank you for making us feel like family on your own wedding day. We had a wonderful time making jokes with your parents, hanging out with your adorable nieces and nephews and simply being there on the most important day of your lives.
