We wanted to celebrate our 7 year anniversary doing something fun together, but without baby on board as the third wheel. So we had our moms pull double duty to babysit Hayat while we re-experienced what it felt like to sleep in after 6:30am and not worry about poop explosions or nap times. I meant, the baby’s poop explosions and nap times…no one else’s!
Renaissance Event Venue Kingston Wedding | Emma + Tim
Emma and Tim wanted an elegant yet exciting affair amongst the closest of their family and friends, so the Renaissance Events Venue, Kingston’s oldest surviving church structure (built in the early 1800s!) amidst the urban downtown surroundings was the perfect location to host their guests coming in from near and far. With enchanted gold chandeliers, checkered marble floors and tall stain-glassed ceilings, this place gave just the perfect amount of glamour to their wedding. Tapered off-white candles lined the centre of the long harvest tables and green succulents were placed on each table setting as a wedding favour for each guests. The design was just so simple yet glamorous. My favourite combination!
Best Western Plus Perth | Kaylea + Chris
Kaylea and Chris’s wedding at the Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa came to life so beautifully with the help of Marianne from Heirloom Events who executed their vision flawlessly. They wanted a fun and relaxed outdoor setting that their family and friends who came from out of town would enjoy. They paired this laid-back vibe with a sophisticated, elegantly designed reception space at Matheson Hall, with its floor to ceiling glass walls overlooking Stewart Park in the background.
Andrew Hayden Park Engagement | Laura + Dan
Laura described her wedding vision as rustic, boho, wildflower-filled (Thanks to Pollen Nation Floral Studio who I’m sure will do an incredible job fulfilling this vision) and full of love, happiness and laughter. A perfect reflection of who they are, and such an ideal match for our own creative style too! So looking forward to their Evermore wedding this fall!
Tropical Greenhouse Engagement | Emma + Tim
Emma and Tim’s century farm home meant so much to them because it was their first place together and it’s where they brought their beautiful baby girl, Ellie, home for the first time! Tim knew it would be the perfect place to propose to his lady of 5 years. He hung 800 feet of string lighting in their forest of a yard leading to a bridal arch at the end, lit candles and had music playing to show Emma how much she means to him. In Emma’s words, a true romantic!
