They were connected to one another when they were young kids. But their circles only intertwined decades later as adults. Mike’s dad, Audra’s doctor when she was a little girl, pointed her out to him as a girl to watch for. And on this day, they stood in front of one another and promised to spend the rest of their lives side by side.
Landsdowne Park and Tropical Garden Engagement | Sierra + Jay
Sierra and Jay’s paths first crossed on a varsity soccer game trip over 10 years ago! Jay played on the team as a senior and Sierra was there to support friends. Sierra caught Jay checking her out in the hallway several times, so she decided to make the first move and send him a Facebook friend request. Their connection was instant. From that day forward, they talked on the phone about anything and everything until the sun came out and somehow still made it to school the next morning because they were so excited to see one another. After that school year, Jay went off to post-secondary and with them being at two very different stages in their lives, quickly grew apart. They kept in touch over the years, but moved on to new relationships.

A Whimsical Wildflower Herb Garden Wedding | Becca + Kendrick
Their wedding day was brimming with beautiful family and Newfoundland traditions. They danced to a song called ‘Spirit’ by Tim Baker, a folk song that spoke to their deep love story. They ate cake made by Becca and Kendrick’s dad, a special carrot cake recipe that Kendrick’s late mother used to use to whip up this delicious dessert. Becca’s romantic Abigail of Gardenia dress was lined with blue ribbon under the hem, the same ribbon in her mother’s wedding dress.
Charleston Lake Cottage Engagement | Emily + Dan
It was the last weekend of July when Dan planned it all. He had Emily’s step-dad come up with a fake excuse to get the entire family to Emily’s family cottage at Charleston Lake. Emily had no clue what was in store for her. On the Saturday morning, Dan took Emily out for a seadoo ride to the middle of the lake. He stopped the seadoo, repositioned himself to face her straight on and proposed to a very surprised Emily!
