The Lemonade Files 02: How it all started
It was freezing. Everything seemed to be closed by 5 pm. And I learned the hard way that black ice is no joke in Ottawa. Suffice to say, my introduction to Canada's capital six years ago was rough. Every hour I seemed to dream up a different plan of going back to Toronto. But after about a week, I decided slipping deeper and deeper into my misery wouldn't help. Toronto was not getting any closer.
I know what you did last winter: tips on getting through Canada's cold!
For most, the gruelling -35 degree celcius weather with wind chill that would make your nose hairs freeze over in seconds, isn't the type of weather that makes you skip down the icy sidewalk. You know the saying, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em? Being a native Ottawan (Batoul!), we've come up with a number of ways to get over the winter blues and instead appreciate what mother nature has driven our way.
2015 Year in Review
This year ever been a rollercoaster ride! Its been the most challenging, inspiring, exhausting, rewarding year we’ve had in a long time. Amidst several house moves, launching our photography business, taking up new habits (coffee and Netflix anyone?) and getting rid of old ones (bad breakfast routines), this year has been a year of efficient teamwork, challenging our boundaries and embracing change. We can only look back and be proud of all the incredible things we have been a part of.
Seville, Seville, Seville!
Our time spent is Seville went by so slowly! Maybe it's just the slowed down lifestyle of the Spanish people that influenced our sentiment, but man, it felt like we were in Seville for a long time! It was only 2.5 days, which was more than enough to see the incredible monuments and experience the laid back atmosphere and kind faces of the Sevillian life.
